Our Camp Director is Karen Boen, Head Coach of the Skyhawks Men and Woman Cross Country Teams. Coach Karen Boen is now in her 16th season as Head Cross Country Coach at Stonehill College. Boen has brought the men’s and women’s cross country and track and field programs to national prominence, collecting countless conference, regional and national awards along the way. She has won 16 Northeast-10 and nine NCAA Northeast Regional Coach of the Year awards, giving her more conference coach of the year awards than anyone in the history of Northeast-10 cross country. Boen has won 11 Coach of the Year awards on the women's side and five as coach of the men's program. This year marks the third consecutive season that Boen has earned both awards, dating back to 2011. In 2013, Boen led the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams to another Northeast-10 Conference title. She also received Regional Coach of the Year awards for both the Men’s and Women’s teams. Boen is a graduate of Bridgewater State University with a degree in exercise physiology.
