Three Skyhawks Earn NE-10 Postseason Honors

EASTON, Mass. (March 5, 2010) – Three members of the Stonehill College ice hockey team have earned postseason honors in the Northeast-10 Conference as selected by the league’s six head coaches. Senior captain Peter Roundy (Simsbury, Conn./Kimball Union) has earned All-Northeast-10 honors for the first time after his selection to the second team. Freshmen Christopher Gorovitz (Framingham, Mass./Framingham) and Dana Borges (Taunton, Mass./Coyle & Cassidy) have both been named to the NE-10’s All-Rookie team.

MANCHESTER, N.H. (March 3, 2010) – Top-seeded Saint Anselm College opened a three-goal lead after a period of play and made it stand the rest of the way in posting a 5-3 victory over fifth-seeded Stonehill College in semifinal round action of the 2010 Northeast-10 Conference ice hockey tournament at Thomas F. Sullivan Arena tonight.

Stonehill Set to Battle Top-seeded Saint Anselm in Semifinal

EASTON, Mass. (March 2, 2010) – Fifth-seeded Stonehill College continues its postseason run on Wednesday night when it visits top-seeded Saint Anselm College in semifinal round action of the 2010 Northeast-10 Conference Ice Hockey Championships at Thomas F. Sullivan Arena at 7 p.m. Admission is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for senior citizens and children, with college students with valid ID admitted for just $1.00.
