Recent graduate and two-time All-Region selection signs with Basketball Club U.S. Hiefenech Heffingen of Luxembourg's Total League
"I am blessed to have the opportunity to keep playing the game that has given me so much for so long," said Logan in a statement upon his signing. "I am excited for what is in store as my next journey quickly approaches."
Heffingen finished the 2016-17 Total League season with a 20-12 record. "We are happy to announce the signing of Stonehill's Ryan Logan," said Claude Schmit, Heffingen Vice President and Manager. "Ryan will fit the power/small forward spot and will be a big help for (the team.)"
Logan, named Stonehill's Fr. William Gartland, CSC, Male Senior Student-Athlete Award recipient, finished his career at the College as a two-time NABC All-District second team selection and three-time All-Northeast-10 Conference honoree, with first team honors as a junior and senior. Named to the Bevo Francis Award "watch list" by Small College Basketball as a senior, he started all 27 games for Stonehill this past season and led the team with 17.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. Logan shot 50.1-percent from the field, including 35.2-percent from three-point distance (31-for-88), while converting 68.3% of his free-throws (69-101) in a team-high 31.1 minutes per game. He finished ninth among NE10 scoring leaders, 13th in assists per game and 15th in rebounding.
Logan started all 115 games of his collegiate career, finishing ranked fifth on the program's career scoring list with 1,757 points and tenth with 135 three-point field goals. He averaged 15.3 points per game over his career as the team's top scorer all four years, ranking among the top ten in the NE10 for scoring, rebounding and assists as a junior – the only player in the league to do so last winter. Logan also totaled 822 rebounds, 359 assists, 103 steals and 47 blocked shots over his career.
Logan scored in double-figures in 93 of his 115 career games, posting three career 30-plus point games, including a career-best 36 points in an NE10 Quarterfinal win at Adelphi University in 2016, with 30 career 20-plus point games. He posted 24 career double-doubles, including a team-high 11 his junior season, grabbing a career-high 20 boards against Saint Anselm in November 2015. Logan dished out a career-best nine assists in the Skyhawks NCAA East Regional semifinal win over Southern New Hampshire University last March.
