June 1, 1982 - Stonehill's shortstop Bob Wooster played in the All-New England College All-Star Game, held at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, R.I.  Wooster, a senior, finished the season with a .376 average, two homeruns and 23 RBIs before being drafted by the Cleveland Indians.

EASTON, Mass. (February 5, 2010) – Seven Stonehill College fall student-athletes have earned Academic All-Conference honors in their respective sports as announced by the Northeast-10 Conference office today. The seven Skyhawks, all first time selections, were among 86 NE-10 student-athletes recognized from the sports of men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer, field hockey, football and volleyball.
NCAA Fall Championships Highlight Show to Air Saturday on CBS

EASTON, Mass. (December 22, 2009) – For the eighth consecutive year CBS Sports Presents Championships of the NCAA will air at 1:30 p.m. Eastern, Saturday, December 26, on CBS Sports. Highlights and stories from cross country, field hockey, soccer and volleyball will be featured in the program. For the 2009-10 academic year, CBS Sports will feature more than 40 of the NCAA’s 88 championships in its three seasonal shows.

(November 21, 2009) – Stonehill College, ranked 11th in the most recent U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II poll, turned in a 21st place finish at the 2009 NCAA Division II Championships, hosted by the University of Southern Indiana, this afternoon.
