2014: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Athletic Director's Honor Roll fall semester. Started all 18 games for Stonehill. Finished second on the team in assists with four. Recorded a season high five shots and tallied an assist in Stonehill's 4-3 win over Saint Michael's (10/28). Scored the game-winning goal against Nyack in the 48th minute, heading in a cross from teammate Craig Moreau (9/13). Registered a three-match point streak, scoring against American International in a 2-1 Stonehill win (10/18), and producing an assist in the next two matches against Assumption (10/25) and Saint Michael's (10/28).
2013: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Athletic Director’s Honor Roll both semesters. Appeared in all 16 of Stonehill's matches during his sophomore season, making 14 starts. Recorded one assist on 14 shots, including five on goal. His 14 shots ranked third on the team. Started the first 14 matches of the season for Stonehill. Registered an assist on Evan Devanny's 32nd minute tally in Stonehill's 2-0 win over Saint Rose (9/14). Totaled a season-high three shots in Stonehill's 1-0 win at Saint Anselm (9/17).
2012: NE-10 Commisioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Athletic Director's Honor Roll for both semesters. Made 17 appearances including eight starts. Recorded one assist and 16 shots on the year. Made his first career start and recorded his first shot in a 1-1 draw against St. Thomas Aquinas (8/30). Posted a career-high three shots during a 1-0 loss against New Haven (9/11). Notched his first career point, an assists, in a 4-2 victory over Saint Rose (10/20).
High School: 2012 graduate of Kennedy Catholic High School. Four-year letterwinner and four-year starter for the varsity soccer team. Three-time All-League selection. Selected as a captain of the team in both his junior and senior seasons. Earned All-Section honors as a senior. Received the Principal's List award for obtaining an average of 90 or above in all four years at Kennedy Catholic. Was a member of two club teams including Shrub Oak United and JPSC.
Personal: Born on February 3, 1994 in Mt. Kisco, N.Y. Son of Gayle and Richard Aprile of Carmel, N.Y. Has two brothers, Jesse (23) and Justen (33) and two sisters, Dana (29) and Kerry (43). Lists favorite team as Real Madrid and favorite athlete as Sergio Ramos. Chose Stonehill for its outstanding reputation. Worked with Marilena Hall, Associate Professor of chemistry, on The Effect of Mutations on Protein Production and Phage Propagation in M13 Bacteriophage. Two time St. Thomas Acquinas medal winner for having highest cumulative grade point average on the team.
