2016: NE-10 Commisioner's Honor Roll spring semester
2014: NSCAA/Continental Tire All-East Region third team & NE-10 All-Conference second team selection. NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll fall semester. Started all 18 games for Stonehill. Led team in points (19), goals (7) and assists (5). Also led the team in game-winning goals (3) and shots (54). Registered a season high two goals including the game winner in double overtime win against Saint Michael's (10/28). Scored the lone goal against Bentley in a 1-0 win (9/24). Recorded a goal and an assist in three other games, all victories. Had a season high seven shots and found the back of the net against Franklin Pierce in a 3-2 win (10/8). Scored the game-winning goal against American International in the 89th minute when he collected a loose ball in the box and fired it past the goalkeeper (10/18).
2013: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll for both semesters. Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for fall semester. Started each of the 13 matches that he played in during his sophomore campaign. Missed three games due to injury. Led the team in scoring with six points (two goals, two assists). Ranked second on the team with 19 shots, including 11 on goal. Scored his first goal of the season in the 65th minute of Stonehill's 2-0 win against Saint Rose (9/14). Found the back of the net again in the 55th minute of Stonehill's 2-1 loss to eventual National Champion Southern New Hampshire University (10/2). Assisted on Timothy Canniff's 62nd-minute score in a 1-1 draw with American International (10/18). Also assisted on Canniff's 58th-minute tally in a 2-1 win against Saint Michael's (10/29). Recorded a season-high of three shots in the last two matches of the season (10/29 vs. Saint Michael's, 11/2 at Le Moyne).
2012: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll spring semester. NE-10 Select Sport Rookie of the Week (9/4, 10/22, 10/29). Started all 17 games for Stonehill. Led the team in points (13), goals (4) and assists (5). Ranked third among NE-10 rookies in goals and tied for 11th in the league in assists. Notched a career-high two goals, incuding the first of his career, in a 2-1 victory over Concordia (9/1). Recorded his first collegiate assist in a 3-1 loss to Franklin Pierce (9/22). Posted a career-high four points with two goals and one assist in a 4-2 win against Saint Rose (10/20). Scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 victory over St. Anselm (10/23). Stonehill went 5-1-0 in games that he registered a point. Compiled 34 shots including 14 shots on goal. Montano Earns NE-10 Select Sport Rookie of the Week Honors. Montano Earns NE-10 All-Conference Rookie Team Honors.
High School: 2012 graduate of Avon High School. Earned All-Conference honors and was selected to the All-Courant (Hartford Courant) team as a junior. Named to the All-New England team as a senior. Helped Avon to a 28-6 record combined over the span of his junior (13-3) and senior (15-3) seasons, scoring 32 goals as a senior. Played for the club team FSA. Honors student at Avon.
Personal: Born on August 15, 1993 in Hartford, Conn. Son of Maryanne and Andy Montano of Avon, Conn. Has one sister, Lauren (24). Lists favorite team as Manchester City and favorite athlete as Sergio Aguero. Majoring in communications.
