SMITHFIELD, R.I. (September 10, 2022)- The Stonehill College women's cross country team saw two top-25 finishes out of 100 runners at the Shawn M. Nassaney Invitational Saturday morning. Bryant claimed first place in the meet, followed by University of Rhode Island, Brown, Holy Cross, and Merrimack rounded out the top five.

Highlights
- Emma Lawrence led the Skyhawks with a 22nd place finish when she crossed the finsih line at 19:44.0. In both meets so far this season, Lawrence has finished within the top 25.
- Right behind Lawrence was Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week, Jordan Malloy with a time of 19:46.90.
Other Performances
- Ava Cote saw a 32nd place finish with a time of 20:08.20. Her time ended up being a new career-best for 5k course. Later in the race, Emily Young finished in 54th at 20:37.90.
- Young's sister, Olivia, came in 63rd place (21:22.30) for the Skyhawks and finally, Molly Cremin finished things off for Stonehill with a 84th place finish when she crossed the finish line at 22:26.60.

Stonehill is back at it next weekend when the squad travels to UMass Dartmouth for the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, September 17 at 11:15 a.m.
