FORSYTH, Ga. (October 29, 2024) – Sophomore
Helen Brodahl matched her own program record for lowest round relative to par with a final round one-over-par round of 73 to close out the Mercer Invitational on the 6,041-yard, par-72 layout at River Forest Golf Club today.

Brodahl moved up five spots on the final day of the tournament to finish tied for 24
th in the field of 70 golfers after her record-matching round. She completed the three rounds over two days with a score of 227 (76-78-73=+11) – one stroke shy of sophomore teammate
Kenna Roman's program-best three-round score of 226 set at the Northeast Conference Championship in April. Brodahl played the front nine at one over today and the back even par, carding birdies on the par-5 tenth and par-4 12
th holes. She birdied the tenth hole in all three rounds while adding a birdie on the 12
th after recording her first career eagle on the hole in yesterday's first round.
Brodahl finished the tournament third in par-4 scoring at 3.87, playing the holes a combined three-under-par for the week, and recording eight birdies and 31 pars, including 14 in today's round.
Stonehill finished the tournament 12
th overall with a three-round team total of 955 (316-327-312) with today's score of 312 a season-low. The Skyhawks saw three scores in the 70s as freshman
Zoe Miller carded a season-low 78, and sophomore
Carol Pignato added a 79 today.

Jacksonville held its day one lead with a three-round score of four-over-par 867 (287-288-292) to take the team title, two strokes lower than host Mercer University (287-291-291=869) in second, with Samford University (296-293-290=879) ten strokes adrift in third. Georgia State University's TK Kongthong (69-70-72) and Gabi Nicastro (74-66-71), the No. 60-ranked individual in the country by Scoreboard, from Samford University tied for individual medalist honors with a five-under-par score of 211. The duo edged Mercer's Mikayla Dubnik (71-73-68=212) and Susana Oliveras (69-70-73=212) by a single stroke, with the top 15 separated by just ten shots.

- Pignato moved up three spots to 49th overall after her final round 79 to finish with a three-round score of 241 (81-81-79). She finished the tournament tied for third in par-3 scoring at 2.93, playing those five holes a combined one-under-par over the three rounds. She carded three birdies today on the par-4 ninth hole, as well as the par-3 11th and 16th holes.
- Miller's season-best 78 completed a three-round score of 250 (86-86-78) and a 67th-place finish.
- Junior Jaelyn DeBoise and Roman both finished tied for 63rd overall with three-round scores of 247. DeBoise (78-87-82) added an 82 today with two birdies on the par-3 seventh and par-5 tenth holes, while Roman (81-82-84) birdied the par-4 15th hole on her way to a final round 84.
