KINGSTON, R.I. (Dec. 5,2025) - The Stonehill women's track and field team opened the 2025-2026 winter season with a tri-meet against Rhode Island and New Hampshire on Friday afternoon.
 
TRACK HIGHLIGHTS

• Senior Emma Lawrence posted a top collegiate best time of 3:05.32 in the 1000-meter to finish fifth.
• Junior Molly Nyhan registered a top collegiate time in the mile to finish fifth with a time of 5:34.32.
• The Skyhawks 4x400 relay squad (Madison Stott, Abigail Haeusgen, Aneka Andrews and Emma Lawrence) finished first, two seconds ahead of UNH with a time of 4:06.5.
• Junior Madison Stott recorded a collegiate top time of 1:42.61 I in the 600-meter to finish fourth.
• Freshman Abigail Haeusgen was right behind Stott in the 600-meterwith a time of 1:46.14.
• Sophomore Sofija Slezas posted a top collegiate time of 44.05 in the 300-meter.
• Freshman Isabella Fiore registered two top times in the 60-meter (8.19) and the 300-meter (45.47).

 
FIELD HIGHLIGHTS

• Sophomore Hannah Santos earned second place in the high jump with a mark of 1.55m – five hundredths off first place.
• Freshman Evangeline Emerson placed fifth in the shot put with a mark of 11.43m.
• Sophomore Samantha Gaudet registered a top collegiate mark of 12.43m in the weight throw.
