BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – Four freshmen from the Stonehill men's and women's cross country teams were named to the NEC All-Rookie Team announced by the League on Tuesday morning.
Freshmen
Luke Allen and
Declan Smith were named to the All-Rookie Team for the men. Allen also earned NEC All-Conference honors after placing 13
th at the championship meet with a time of 26:29.3.
Smith, who was a two-time NEC Rookie of the Week selection in the fall, joined Allen on the All-Rookie Team. Smith finished the NEC Championship Meet posting a time of 27:12.9.
On the women's side, freshmen
Isabella Galusha and
Jayden Donnelly were selected to the All-Rookie Team. A two-time Rookie of the Week recipient in the fall, Galusha earned NEC All-Conference accolades following a 12
th place finish at the conference meet, crossing with a time of 23:41.0.
Donnelly was not far off the pace at the championship meet, crossing the finish line with a time of 24:21.4.
