STOUGHTON, Mass. (March 10, 2025) – The Stonehill College Equestrian team finished fourth overall in the team standings at the Bridgewater State/Babson Show at the Grand Champion Show Stables in Stoughton, Massachusetts, this past Saturday. In addition, the Skyhawks saw three individuals, including seniors
Madeline Ahern, Emma Worster, and sophomore
Lauren Eager qualify for regional competition.
Highlights
- Worster and Ahern finished first and second in the open flat, respectively, and they each qualified for regional competition.
- Worster and Ahern also took home respective third and sixth-place finishes in open fences.
- Eager's first-place performance in the limit flat qualified her for regionals, while first-year classmates Nora Fitzgerald and Shay Callanan also finished atop the podium in limit flats.
- First-year student Maddy Clark finished first in the Pre-novice division, while junior Rosalie Martin and first-year student Elizabeth Carreiro rounded out the Skyhawks' top three finishers on the day.
- Martin and Carreiro finished as the runners-up in the intermediate fences and limit flat, respectively.
- First-year student Carissa Muller capped off Stonehill's riders in Stoughton, finishing fifth overall in limit fences.
