Helen Brodahl of the Stonehill College women's golf program has been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® At-Large Team, as announced by the organization.
The CSC Academic All-District® At-Large program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined achievements in athletic competition and academic excellence. Honorees are selected across four divisions — NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA — with consideration for sports not sponsored by specific CSC Academic All-America® teams.
Brodahl earns her first career Academic All-District® honor after compiling a 3.90 cumulative GPA while pursuing a degree in neuroscience. On the course, she led Stonehill with a team-best scoring average of 76.8 during the 2024–25 season, the fifth-best mark in the NEC Her performance earned her NEC First Team All-Conference honors.
The Portland, Oregon native closed out her season with back-to-back top 10 finishes, placing fifth at the Rutgers Invitational and sixth at the NEC Championship. Her sixth place showing helped Stonehill to a tie for fifth overall — the program's highest postseason finish at the Division I level. Brodahl's three-round total of +18 at the NEC Championship included a two-over-par 74 on the final day, marking the lowest final-round score ever recorded by a Skyhawk in a conference championship since the program's inception in 2017–18.
Brodahl also made history in October by becoming the first Skyhawk to be named NEC Golfer of the Month, averaging 76.5 strokes per round over three weekends. She carded scores in the 70s in seven of eight rounds that month.
In the spring, Brodahl set a new program record by shooting a 70 (-1) at the Rutgers Invitational in Piscataway, New Jersey — the lowest single-round score in program history. She also contributed to a team record at the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, as the Skyhawks posted a program-best team round of 303 (+23).
About College Sports Communicators
College Sports Communicators (CSC) was founded in 1957 and is a 3,200+ member national association for strategic, creative, and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. The current name of the organization was adopted following a member-wide vote on Aug. 31, 2022.
From its founding in 1957 until the 2022 name change, the organization was known as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The name change signaled a significant step in a broader strategic plan to highlight the association's evolution and growth. The move better aligns with the association's membership makeup and further positions the organization to support and advocate for its members who serve in the communications, digital, and creative sports industry, regardless of position or title.
The organization, which celebrated its 65th anniversary during the 2021-22 academic year, is the second-oldest management association in all intercollegiate athletics. College Sports Communicators became an affiliated partner with NACDA (National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics) in December 2008.
