GENEVA, Ohio (Feb. 17, 2026) – The Stonehill swimming & diving team set new school records in both the 200 medley relay and the 800 freestyle relay on day one of the NEC Championships, hosted at the SPIRE Institute Tuesday.
On the first finals event of the evening, the relay of sophomore
Elizabeth Weston, sophomore
Lily Peterson, freshman
Lucy Boisoneau and junior
Grace Idowu combined to finish in 1:45.39, good for a new Stonehill school record. Weston's mark of 26.85 was a new personal best.
The Skyhawks then broke the program record with a time of 7:51.57 in the 800 free relay. Senior
Kristy Barry, who also established a new school best time of 1.55.50 in her leadoff leg of the relay, joined freshman
Emma Kawai, junior
Isabella Rodriguez and sophomore
Maddie Gomez in the race.
After day one, Stonehill has 54 points, tied for sixth place.
