EASTON, Mass. (February 20, 2025) – The Stonehill College football team and
Eli Gardner, the Paul Finn '71 Head Football Coach, announced its 12-game 2026 schedule this week.
Stonehill's 39th season of football includes five home games at W.B. Mason Stadium, seven NEC conference games and five non-conference contests. The Skyhawks will play four of its seven conference games at home.
The 2026 home slate begins with a non-conference matchup against Bryant on Saturday, Aug. 29. Stonehill will then return home to face Duquesne on Saturday, Oct. 17. Mercyhurst will travel to Easton on Saturday, Oct. 31, followed by a home game against reigning NEC Champion and FCS playoffs participant Central Connecticut State on Saturday, Nov. 7. The Skyhawks will host Wagner for Senior Day on Saturday, Nov. 21. Promotional games such as Homecoming and Family Weekend will be announced in the near future, along with season and single-game ticket options.
After facing Bryant at home, Stonehill will open its NEC schedule at New Haven Saturday, Sept. 5. The Skyhawks will then remain on the road at New Hampshire, Saturday, Sept. 12 before facing back-to-back Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) opponents at Massachusetts Saturday, Sept. 19 and at Ohio Saturday, Sept. 26. The games against the Minutemen and Bobcats will mark the first time the Skyhawks have faced FBS teams on the gridiron.
Following its bye week Oct. 3, Stonehill returns to action at Sacred Heart in the final non-conference game of the 2026 season on Saturday, Oct. 10. The Skyhawks will also play at LIU on Saturday, Oct. 24 and at Robert Morris on Saturday, Nov. 14.
Stonehill posted a 4-8 overall record in 2025, going 3-4 in the NEC.
Game times for the 2026 season are still to be determined and will be announced at a later date. All home and NEC games will be broadcast on NEC Front Row.
