LOWELL, Mass. (March 27, 2026) – Seniors Jordan Malloy and Emily Young helped the Stonehill women's track and field team open the outdoor season with first-and-second place finishes in the 1,500-meter race at the UMass Lowell D'Amour Invitational on Friday afternoon.
 
STONEHILL HIGHLIGHTS

• Seniors Jordan Malloy and Emily Young finished first and second in the 1,500-meters with times of 4:43.99 and 4:48.19, respectively.
• Junior Madison Stott posted a personal-best time of 12.86 in the 100-meters to place eighth.
• Freshman Isabella Fiore also clocked a personal-best time of 13.00 in the 100-meters.
• Senior Grace Tyrrell finished second in the 400-meters with a time of 1:00.45, less than a second off first place.
• Sophomore Kendall Barton placed fifth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.00 meters.
• Sophomore Aly Bassett and senior Kaia Eder finished first in the long jump with back-to-back marks of 5.18 meters and 5.16 meters, respectively.
• Bassett registered personal-best marks in both events she competed in: 100-meter (13.28) and long jump (5.1 meters).
• Freshman Casey Dempsey placed third in the triple jump with a personal-best mark of 10.14 meters.
• Sophomore Samantha Gaudet registered personal-best marks in the hammer throw (34.55 meters) and the javelin (32.22 meters).
• Gaudet placed third in the javelin.
