NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. (April 2, 2026) – Senior Emily Young clocked personal-bests in the 800-meter and 5000-meter run to guide the Stonehill women's track and field team to a second place finish (133) at the Merrimack Alumni Classic on Thursday.
 
STONEHILL HIGHLIGHTS

• Senior Emily Young won the 800-meter run with a personal-best time of 2:19.24.
• Young also posted a personal-best time in the 5000-meter, clocking a time of 19:24.24 to place fourth.
• Freshman Evangeline Emerson placed third in the shot put with a mark of 11.00m.
• Sophomore Makenna Dube finished second in the hammer throw with a personal-best mark of 40.43m
• Sophomore Samantha Gaudet placed second in the discus with a mark of 33.35m.
• Senior Kaia Eder won the triple jump with a mark of 10.68m and finished second in the long jump with a mark of 5.31m.
• Sophomores Hannah Santos and Simone Connolly finished first and second in the high jump with marks of 1.50m each.
• Junior Mallory Hildreth podiumed in the 1500m run clocking a personal-best time of 4:43.50.
• Hildredth also registered a personal-best time of 19:24.43 in the 5000-meter to place fifth.
• Sophomore Aly Bassett won the 100m hurdles with a time of 16.46.
• Senior Grace Tyrrelll finished second in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:09.95.
