EASTON, Mass. (Sept. 14, 2026) – Quarterback Jack O'Connell of the Stonehill football team has been tabbed the NEC/Atlantic Tomorrow's Office Offensive Player of the Week for the second-straight time, the conference office announced Monday.

O'Connell, a 5th year from North Andover, Mass., who was also named FCS National Offensive Player of the Week honorable mention, amassed 433 yards of offense, finishing with a personal best 380 passing yards and also a career-high four TDs through the air at New Hampshire Sept. 12. O'Connell became the first Stonehill quarterback with four passing TDs since he threw four against Duquesne in 2024. It was also the first time a Skyhawk QB threw for over 300 yards since Anton Stoneking had 337 vs. Bentley in 2019. He now ranks tied for seventh in school history with 29 career touchdown passes, and he moved up to eighth with 3,329 career passing yards. 

O'Connell was joined on the conference's weekly awards list 5th year tight end Cole Clarke and sophomore wide receiver Jaylin Baker, as the trio were named NEC Prime Perfomers.
