Nick Crovetti Named Director of Golf

EASTON, Mass. (Sept. 2, 2026) – Stonehill College Associate Vice President/Director of Athletics Dean O'Keefe has announced the elevation of Nick Crovetti to Director of Golf.

Crovetti, a Certified LPGA Teaching Instructor, has served as the Head Women's Golf Coach at Stonehill since the program's inaugural season in 2017-2018. In his new role, Crovetti will oversee the men's program, slated to begin in 2027-2028 and serve as the point of contact for prospective student-athletes as he builds a men's coaching staff.

"We are pleased to announce that Nick will lead our men's and women's programs as the director of golf," O'Keefe said. "Since his arrival on campus, he has successfully launched our women's program and led the team as it transitioned to competing at the Division I level, and we are excited he will serve as the director of golf as we build our men's program."

During his tenure at Stonehill, Crovetti has seen exceptional growth of the women's program. Under his guidance, Stonehill has continued to make positive strides in golf after moving to Division I. Crovetti has successfully recruited top Division I talent from across the nation, including the program's first Division I All-NEC First Team recipient (Helen Brodahl) in 2023.

"I am honored and humbled to be named the Director of Golf at Stonehill College," Crovetti said. "I would like to thank Mr. O'Keefe and the entire athletic department for entrusting me with the newest addition to campus – men's golf.

However, this would not be possible without the prior successes of the women's team forging a path for the sport to be added. It's a program I am very proud of and will try to incorporate their successes with the new men's team, while also creating their own identity. The addition, coupled with the purchase of a new golf course, recruiting efforts, new tournament scheduling, and unwavering focus on the student-athlete experience — I believe Stonehill Golf is just getting started. Go Hill!"

Prior to Stonehill, Crovetti guided the Merrimack golf program. The Warriors won the first three NE-10 Championships in the League history, while Crovetti earned the 2015 NE-10 Coach of the Year.

A 2004 graduate of Central Connecticut State University, Crovetti was four-year scholarship member of the Blue Devils' men's program and one that qualified for the NCAA Division I West Regional. He earned his PGA membership in 2008 and held golf professional positions at some of the top clubs in the country: The Fox Club (Palm City, Fla.), Salem Country Club (Peabody, Mass.), Bellevue Golf Club (Melrose, Mass.) and Beverly Golf and Tennis Club.
