SYRACUSE, N.Y. (Sept. 26, 2026) – The Stonehill swimming & diving team started its 2026-27 campaign at the Hannah/Gibbons Invite Saturday afternoon.
With the swimming portion of the meet taking place at Le Moyne and the diving competition hosted by Binghamton, the Skyhawks finished third on the women's side and third in the men's competition. The women recorded a score of 382.5 behind Binghamton and Le Moyne.
Grace Idowu led the way for the Skyhawks, finishing second in the 50 backstroke (28.03) and 100 backstroke (1.00.45). Idowu also took fifth in the 50 butterfly (27.58) and was a member of the 200 medley relay with
Sienna Mason,
Isabella Morillo and
Chihiro Bringman who placed third with a collective mark of 1:55.59.
Stonehill also came in third in the 400 freestyle relay as
Abby Toepfer,
Aubrey Cramer,
Andraya Giagios and
Emma Kawai finished in 3:53.97.

Stonehill will next return to action Saturday, Oct. 10 when the women's squad takes on Siena and Rhode Island in Kingston, R.I.
