2013: Appeared in three games, primarily on special teams. Recorded one solo tackle, which came against the run. Made his collegiate debut in win over LIU Post (10/26). Posted his first career tackle with a solo stop in NE-10 Championship at American International (11/16).
High School: 2013 graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School. Three year letterwinner for coach Bernie Connelly and Pat D'Liso, playing quarterback, wide receiver and punter and serving as team captain as a senior. Named Class AA back of the year and top wide receiver in Hudson Valley his senior year. Participated in All-Star Game, earning MVP honors. Earned Most Valuable wide reciever his junior year and Best Backup QB in New York as a sophomore.
Personal: Born February 10, 1995, in Liberty, N.Y. Son of Dieter and Julie Kaffenberger of Monroe, N.Y. Has a brother, Jesse (18). Majoring in criminology. Chose Stonehill because of its great academics and opportunity to play football. Enjoys drawing and hiking. Supports the New York Giants. Lists Victor Cruz as a favorite athlete.
