Made his collegiate debut in season-opener at #18 Bloomsburg (9/7). Also played in wins over Saint Anselm (9/14), Assumption (9/20) and Bentley (9/28).
High School: 2013 honors graduate of The Governor's Academy in Byfield, Mass. Two year letterwinner for coach Jim O'Leary, serving as captain his senior year. Helped the Govs go undefeated in both seasons he was on the team, capturing a pair of Independant School League (ISL) titles and a Jack Etter Bowl Championship. Earned All-New England and All-ISL honors as a senior. Cum Laude Society member. Also lettered in basketball and track & field.
Personal: Born September 30, 1994, in Beverly, Mass. Son of Kurt and Patricia Smith of Ipswich, Mass. Has two sisters, Amber (25) and Devin (20). Sister, Amber, played basketball at the University of Maine. Majoring in engineering. Enjoys fishing and camping. Supports the New England Patriots. Lists Tony Gonzalez as a favorite athlete.
