2007: Started all 10 contestson the defensive line. Finished the season with 20 tackles (10solo), three for loss and a forced fumble. Had two tackles and aforced fumble in the win over St. Anselm (10/6). Recorded fivetackles in the loss to Southern Conn. (10/27). Registered fourtackles in the win over Merrimack (11/2).

2006: Saw action in sixcontests on the defensive line. Had seven tackles, including onetackle for loss.

High School: 2006 graduate ofLeominster High School. Three-yearletterwinner for coach Dubzinski, serving as team captain hissenior year. Earned Central-Mass. All-Star, S&E All-Star,and T&E All-Star accolades in his senior year.

Personal: Born July 12, 1988in Leominister, Mass. Son of William and Julie Penning ofLeominister, Mass. Has one sister, Stephanie (19). Majoring incriminology and minoring in psychology. Greatest sports moment wasbeating rival Fitchburg High School his senior year in the 100thmeeting between the two teams. Supports the New England Patriots.Favorite athlete is Vince Wilfork.
