Stonehill College

Janna Anctil is inher second season as assistant coach with the Stonehill Collegefield hockey program. In addition to her duties with the fieldhockey program, Anctil also serves as assistant coach with thewomen's lacrosse program as well.

Anctil came to Stonehill followinga standout four year career at Boston College. She was a first teamAll-Region performer by the National Field Hockey CoachesAssociation (NFHCA) as a junior and senior and was also a member ofthe NFHCA's Division I National Academic squad both years. Anctilwas named to the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) All-TournamentTeam her senior year and was honored as the ACC Player of the Weekfor her efforts. She was named to the All-ACC Academic Squad twiceand was recipient of the Athletic Director's Award for AcademicAchievement at BC.

Anctil was an active member ofBoston College's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC),participating in numerous community service projects. She acted asa mentor for freshman student-athletes through BC's Student-AthleteMentor Initiative.

Anctil began honing her coachingskills as head coach of the U-12 and U-16 teams with NortheastElite Indoor Field Hockey club in North Andover, Mass. She has alsoworked several area camps at Boston College, Deerfield Academy andin her hometown of Wolfeboro, N.H.

Anctil earned her Bachelor's Degreein education and human development at Boston College, graduating in2011.
