2012: Played all ten games, starting nine. Posted 25 tackles, with 16 solo and nine assisted tackles, including 8.5 tackles for a loss of 38 yards, and 5.5 sacks for a loss of 31. Collected an interception, three quarterback hurries and a safety. Ranked second on the team and sixth among NE-10 leaders in sacks and eighth in the Conference in tackles for loss. Played all eight NE-10 games and finished with 20 tackles (13 solo), including a team-high 7.5 stops for a loss of 28 yards, team-high matching 4.5 sacks for a loss of 21, three QB hurries, an interception and safety. Registered 15 stops (seven solo), including a team-high matching 6.5 for a loss of 34 yards, with a team-best 4.5 sacks for a loss of 29, an interception and two QB hurries in six home games. Led the team with 7.5 tackles for a loss of 28 yards and 4.5 sacks for a loss of 21 in the Skyhawks five wins, finishing with 14 stops (nine solo), three QB hurries and a safety in victories. Opened the season with four tackles (two solo) against #25 Bloomsburg (8/31). Posted a season-high five stops (three solo), including a career-best 3.0 tackles for a loss of 11 yards and 2.0 sacks for a loss of nine with two quarterback hurries in shutout win over Southern Connecticut State (9/8). Contributed three tackles (one solo), with 2.0 stops for a loss of ten yards, 1.0 sacks for a loss of seven in win over Assumption (9/22). Posted a career-high four solo tackles at Bentley (9/28). Matched his career-best with four solo stops, including 2.0 for a loss of four yards and a sack for a loss of two with a safety in win at Pace (11/3).

2011: NE-10 All-Rookie Team. Played nine games, starting four, as a freshman. Posted 31 tackles, with 14 solo and 17 assisted, including 5.5 for a loss of 17 yards and a team-high 4.0 sacks for a loss of ten yards. Also recovered one fumble. Ranked eighth among NE-10 sack leaders. Posted a career-high six tackles (three solo), including 1.5 for a loss of two yards in collegiate debut at Pace (9/10). Registered two solo stops, including a sack, against American International (9/24). Recorded three tackles, including 1.0 sacks for a loss of three yards in shutout win over Pace (10/15). Made five tackles (four solo) and recovered a fumble at Merrimack (10/22). Had four tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks for a loss of five yards, at Southern Connecticut State (10/29). Named NE-10 Rookie of the Week once (11/1).

High School: 2011 graduate of Freehold High School. Four year letterwinner and three year starter for coach Mark Cicotelli, serving as captain his senior season. Helped the Colonials to a pair of New Jersey State Championships. Earned All-Division honors twice, while also collecting All-Shore and All-Conference accolades. Also lettered in basketball.

Personal: Born April 17, 1993, in Freehold, N.J. Son of Jeff and Shari Weiss of Freehold. Has two sisters, Samara (20) and Brooke (16). Majoring in finance. Lists greatest sports moment so far as winning a State Championship during his senior year in high school. Supports the New York Jets. Lists Lawrence Taylor as a favorite athlete.
