Jerry Maher will be entering his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Stonehill football program in the fall of 2025. This will be his first season as Special Teams Coordinator and his fourth as the Skyhawks running backs coach on head coach Eli Gardner's staff. He previously held the role of video coordinator for the Skyhawks.
Prior to joining Gardner's staff at Stonehill, Maher worked at Monmouth University as an Offensive Quality Control coach beginning in the summer of 2020. While with the Hawks, Maher assisted in making cutups and scouting opponents for the Monmouth offense. In addition, he also assisted with the development of the Monmouth wide receivers.
Maher spent two years on the Rowan University football team as a quarterback before transferring to Rutgers University where he was a student assistant for the Scarlet Knights football program.
Maher, a Manasquan, New Jersey native, graduated from Rutgers University in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management.
