2014: Appeared in nine games. Totaled 15 tackles, with eight solo and seven tackle assists, including 1.0 tackles for a loss of a yard, an interception and two pass breakups. Posted four tackles against the pass and five each on kickoff and punt coverage. His ten special teams tackles ranked third on the team, while also ranking second for punt coverage stops. Played eight NE-10 games and finished with 12 stops (seven solo), including 1.0 for a loss of a yard and an interception. Totaled nine tackles (five solo) and an interception in four October games. Registered 11 stops (five solo), including 1.0 for a loss of a yard, an interception and two pass breakups in five games played on the road. Chipped in two tackles (one solo) in win over Merrimack (9/27). 2012: Played nine games, primarily on special teams. Registered four tackles (all solo) and a forced fumble. Totaled three tackles and a forced fumble in four road games. Made a solo tackle in shutout win over Southern Connecticut State (9/8). Added a solo stop that forced a fumble in win at Saint Anselm (9/14). Finished with a career-best two solo tackles in win at Pace (11/3).
2011: Appeared in two games on special teams. Totaled one solo tackle. Made his collegiate debut at Pace (9/10). Registered his first career tackle in win over Pace later in the year (10/15).
High School: 2011 graduate of Hamden Hall Country Day School. Four year letterwinner for coach Ron Carbone, serving as captain his senior season. Earned All-Conference honors two years. Also lettered in basketball.
Personal: Born May 1, 1993, in New Haven, Conn. Son of Roberta Hoskie of New Haven and Dante Brito, Sr., of New Haven. Has two brothers, Oliver (17) and Mason (five months), and three sisters, Allia (15), Dontajah (13) and Chante (24). Majoring in communication, with a minor in sociology. Football team's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative. Supports the Tennessee Titans. Lists Ed Reed and Dwayne Wade as his favorite athletes.
