Played all 11 games, starting one, onspecial teams as well as safety. Totaled 20 tackles, with 11 soloand nine tackle assists, and a pass breakup. Posted seven tacklesagainst the run and five against the pass with seven stops onkickoff coverage and one on punt coverage. Ranked third on the teamfor special teams tackles and second for kickoff return tackles.Recorded 13 tackles (six solo) in nine NE-10 games. 2011: NE-10Commissioner's Honor Roll spring semester. Played all11 games on special teams, serving as the team's kickoffspecialist. Averaged 57.7 yards on 52 kickoffs (2,998 yards) withfour touchbacks. Also chipped in with one solo tackle. Averaged 56yards on six kickoffs in season-opening win over Curry (9/2),chipping in his first career tackle. Averaged 56.1 yards on sevenkickoffs with a touchback against American International(9/24).  Averaged a career-best 62.6 yards on five kickoffs at#23 New Haven (10/1). Averaged 57.5 yards on a career-high matchingeight kickoffs in win over Pace (10/15). Averaged 58.2 yards on sixkickoffs with a touchback in win over Saint Anselm (11/5). Averaged62.4 yards on five kickoffs with a career-high two touchbacks inwin at Assumption (11/12).

High School: 2010graduate of McQuaid Jesuit High School. Three year letterwinner forcoach Bob Bates, serving as captain his senior season. NamedCo-Rochester City Athletic Conference Player of the Year (alongwith twin brother, John) and also earned All-RCAC honors as ajunior and senior. Collected All-Greater Rochester first team andAll-State honors. Received Outstanding Defensive Back Award in 2009sectional finals. Named team's Rookie of the Year his sophomoreseason and Team MVP as a senior. Helped lead team to LeagueChampionship and first Sectional Final in 25 years his senior year.Caught three passes for 61 yards and two touchdowns, while adding121 yards rushing and contributing eight tackles and two sacks inleague title clinching win over Franklin High School his senioryear, converting five extra point kicks. Also lettered inlacrosse.

Has a twin brother, John (21), who is a teammate atStonehill, and two sisters, Katie (23) and Julia (17). Father, Jim,played football at Virginia Military Institute. Uncle was anAll-Ivy offensive lineman and part of an Ivy League Championshipsquad at Cornell. Majoring in public administration andbusiness. Active in campus ministry and has volunteered intraining young athletes. Aspires a career in law. Supports the NewYork Giants. Lists Walter Payton as a favorite athlete.
