Named PatriotLedger All-Scholastic. Boston Globe All-Scholastic honoree.Participant in the Shriners' All-Star Game. Recipient of the ArmyNational Guard Scholar Athlete Award. Set school records forconsecutive starts (34). Also a member of the wrestling team.Served as team captain. Senior class president.

Personal: Born May23, 1989 in Weymouth, MA. Son of John and Susan Carey of Weymouth,MA. Has one brother, Brendan (24) who attended Stonehill. Majoringin sociology.  Minoring in political science. Supports the NewEngland Patriots. Lists favorite athlete as Nick Vardaro.
