2015 Season

2014: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll for both semesters. Athletic Director's Honor Roll for fall semester. Appeared in four games in an injury shortened season. Chipped in three tackle assists and a pass breakup. All three tackles came against the rush. The three stops and pass breakup came in two non-conference games played. Matched his career high with three tackles in season-opener against #25 Bloomsburg (9/6). Missed the next seven weeks before returning for the final three games of the season in November. Broke up his first career pass attempt in NE-10 Championship Weekend win at Saint Anselm (11/15).

2013: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll spring semester. Appeared in ten games as a freshman. Totaled 11 tackles (six solo), including 4.5 tackles for a loss of 15 yards, with 1.5 sacks for a loss of six, a pass breakup, two quarterback hurries and and a forced fumble. His tackles for loss ranked sixth on the team and second among Skyhawk freshmen. Shared the team lead for QB hurries. Posted nine tackles against the run. Registered nine tackles (six solo), including 4.0 for a loss of 14 yards, with 1.5 sacks for a loss of six, a pass breakup, two QB hurries and a forced fumble in nine NE-10 games. Collected three stops (one solo), including 2.0 tackles for a loss of nine yards, with 1.5 sacks for a loss of six, a breakup and forced fumble in three games played in the month of September. Recorded four solo tackles, including 2.0 for a loss of five and two QB hurries in four games in the month of October. Had five tackles (two solo), including 3.0 for a loss of ten, with 1.5 sacks, a breakup, two QB hurries and a forced fumble in five home games. Picked up six stops (four solo), including 1.5 for a loss of five yards in five games played on the road. Made his collegiate debut in win over Saint Anselm (9/14) and chipped in with a tackle assist. Posted two stops (one solo), both on sacks for a loss of six yards, a forced fumble and pass breakup in win over rival Bentley (9/28). Registered a season-high three tackles (all solo), including one for a loss of four yards in win at New Haven (10/19). Chipped in with a solo stop for a loss of a yard and two pass breakups in win over LIU Post (10/26). Posted two tackle assists, including 0.5 for a loss of a yard, in NE-10 Championship at American International (11/16).

High School: 2013 honors graduate of Blue Hills Regional High School. Four year letterwinner for coaches Ed Catabia and Steve Balas as a fullback and middle linebacker. Helped lead the Warriors to a 31-5 record over his last three years, including an 11-1 clip and Massachusetts State Championship his junior year. Named the Boston Globe All-Scholastic Player of the Year as a sophomore, junior and senior and was also a two-time Boston Herald and Patriot Ledger All-Scholastic selection. Named team's Offensive Back of the Year three years, and was elected to the All-State team his senior year. Earned team MVP honors his senior year.

Personal: Born December 14, 1994, in Stoughton, Mass. Son of Vincent and Marylou Burton of Randolph, Mass. Has a sister, Hannah (13), and a brother, Nick (17). Majoring in criminology. Chose Stonehill because it offers a great academic foundation and strong football program. Supports the Los Angeles Lakers. Lists Kobe Bryant as a favorite athlete.
