High School: 2013 graduate of Newburyport High School. Competed in both cross country and outdoor track, earning six varsity letters. Named All-Cape Ann League in cross country as a junior and senior. As a senior, was the Cape Ann League 2 Mile champion for both indoor and outdoor track. Member of the school honor roll as a freshman, sophomore, and senior. Won the Team Committment Award as a sophomore and senior.
Personal: Born March 24, 1995 in Beverly, Mass. Son of John and Kathleen Santo of Newburyport, Mass. Mother attended Stonehill and father played baseball and football at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md. Enjoys fishing, hiking, biking, and backpacking in his free time. Lists USA Track and Field as his favorite team, and Bernard Lagat and Chris Derrick as his favorite athletes.
