NE-10 Commisioner's Honor Roll (Fall Semester)

2012-13: Threw the shot put in four meets forStonehill. Posted a15th-place effort at UMass Boston Invitational(12/1/12), throwing 36-07.75. Placed 15th at Reggie PoyauInvitational (12/7) with a throw of 37-00.25. Set an indoorpersonal-best mark of 40-00.75 at URI Sorlien Invitational (1/19),good for 11th. Placed 15th at Northeast-10 Indoor Championships(2/16) in the shot put with a throw of 39-11.25.

OutdoorSeason

2013: Participated in five meets for theSkyhawks, throwing the discus in each meet. Placed 8th atBridgewater State Bears Invitational (3/23) with a throw of115-10.00. Finished 6th at Holy Cross Invitational (4/20) with athrow if 127-11.00. A throw of 124-08.00 would be good for 3rd atSkyhawk Invitational (4/26), and a 131-03.00 effort, a personalbest, would be good for 7th place at the Northeast-10 Championships(5/4). In four shot put events, the highlight was a 42-08.25posting at Skyhawk Invitational, good for 3rd and an outdoorpersonal best.

Prep: 2012graduate of Hebron Academy.

High School: 2011 graduate of East Catholic High School. Lettered in track &field. Undefeated in discus in the Central Connecticut Conferencejunior year. Received East Catholic Athlete-of-the-Year award as asenior. Earned All-Academic and Defensive Lineman of the Yearawards. 2011 All-State and All-Area selection for track &field. 2011 state champion in discus.

Personal: Born May9, 1993, in Hartford, Conn. Son of Brian and Patricia Hastings ofBroad Brook, Conn. Has two brothers, Harrison (16) and Colin (11).Majoring in Business Management and Economics. Chose Stonehill forthe great education.
