Biography

2016-17 (Senior): NE10 Commissioner's Honor Roll Spring semester. NE10 All-Conference second team.

2015-16 (Junior): NE10 All-Conference second team. Appeared in 11 games on the mound, starting five, combining for a 5-2 record, including one save and four complete games; her best of her career. She pitched a total of 44.2 innings including striking out 20 and averaging 1.41 earned runs, her best of her career. At the plate, she played in 39 games, for a total of 125 at bats producing 46 hits, including 10 doubles and five homeruns equaling 28 RBI. Hit .368, a career high and team best, and earning a .398 on base percentage. Scored 28 runs and drew six walks. 

2014-15 (Sophomore): NE10 Commissioner's Honor Roll spring semester. Appeared on the mound in 9 games, starting six of them, combining for a 2-2 record including two saves and three complete games. She recorded 10 strikeouts and averaged 2.45 earned runs. At the plate, she played in 26 games for a total of 120 at bats, hitting .300 (36-for-120), ranking fourth on the team. 

2013-14 (Freshman): NE10 All-Conference third team &  NE10 All-Rookie team selection. NE10 Rookie of the Week (4/8, 4/22). Appeared in 43 games, making 41 starts for Stonehill during her freshman season. Hit .341 (46-for-135), the second highest batting average on the team, with eight doubles, a triple, five home runs, and 26 RBI. Scored 17 runs, drew two walks, and stole five bases in six attempts. Recorded multiple hits in 15 games, including a stretch of seven straight multi-hit efforts from 4/13-4/19. Posted a season-high ten-game hitting streak from 4/12-4/21. Also made 21 appearances and ten starts in the circle, going 6-6 with a 3.81 ERA and four complete games. Gave up 58 runs (45 earned) on 102 hits in 82.2 innings of work while striking out 52, walking 29, and holding opponents to a .298 batting average. Had eight pitching appearances that lasted at least five innings, and seven appearances of giving up one run or fewer. Recorded her first collegiate hit in Stonehill's 4-1 loss to Shippensburg (3/9). Went 4-for-8 with a double, a run, and two RBI as Stonehill split a pair of games with Mercy and Saint Thomas Aquinas (3/12). Went 3-for-6 with her first career home run and two RBI in two wins over Saint Rose (4/6). Made her first pitching appearance in Stonehill's season opener, tossing 1.1 scoreless frames to earn the win in a 2-1 victory over Dominican (3/8). Took her first career loss despite giving up just one earned run through four frames at New Haven (3/23). Turned in her first career complete game, giving up two runs and striking out four in a 5-2 win at Bentley (4/3). 

High School: 2013 graduate of St. Anthony's High School, where she played softball for coach Mike Massa. Named All-Long Island second team as a freshman, sophomore, and junior, and All-Long Island first team as a senior. Also played three years of soccer.

Personal: Born May 11th, 1995 to Michael and Darlene Carbone of Deer Park, N.Y. Has two brothers, Anthony (25), and Angelo (29). Chose Stonehill because she loved the campus and the combination of athletics and academics. Played club softball with the Long Island Heat. Supports the New York Yankees and their shortstop, Derek Jeter.
