Finished secondoverall in the 3,000 meter run at the NE-10 Championships (2/18/12)earning All-NE-10 recognition in the event with a time of 10:30.40.Placed 11th overall out of 28 competitors in the 5,000 meter run atthe New England Championships (2/24/12) in 17:53.00. Ranked 28thoverall out of 52 competitors in the 5,000 meter run with a time of17:54.25 at the BU Valentine Invitational (2/11/12). Posted a timeof 10:42.21 at the New Balance Boston Collegiate Indoor Games(1/27/12) placing 15th overall (23 competitors). Finished seventhoverall out of 17 competitors at the UNH Tri-Meet in alap-shortened 3,000 meter run (2,840m) with a time of 10:12.96.

2010-11: NE-10Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll. USTFCCCA All-East Region(5,000m). Finished second overall at the NE-10championships in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 18:39.86.Placed 21st overall in the 5,000 meter run at the New Englandchampionships in a time of 18:28.26, a personal best time indoors.Also competed in the 5,000 meter run at the Tufts Stampede(18:42.61). Posted a time of 10:56.33 in the 3,000 meter run at theBoston University Valentine Classic. Ran a time of 5:32.48 in theone mile run at the Reebok Boston Collegiate Indoor Games.

2009-10: Placedeighth in the 5000m event (19:13.78) at the Wheaton CollegeInvitational. Finished sixth in the 3000m (11:00.86) at the TuftsStampede. Placed fourth in the 5000m at the NE-10 Championships in18:50.85. Placed 17th overall in the 5000m at the New EnglandChampionships with a time of 18:33.69.

OutdoorSeason

2013: All-New England(10000-meter). Participated in the 5000-meter racethree times. Finished third at Bridgewater State Bears Invitational(3/23) with a time of 19:28.33. Netted sixth place at Holy CrossInvitational (4/20), running in 18:04.23. Placed fourth atNortheast-10 Championships (5/4) by running 18:27.13. Saw action intwo 10000-meter races, running sixth (37:16.70, a school record) atDuke Invitational (4/6), and third (38:10.31) at New EnglandChampionship (5/11), good for an All-New England honor. Ran 4:58.88(16th) at Skyhawk Invitational (4/26).

2012: All-New England(10000-meter). Northeast-10 Conference Champion(10000m). Competed in one 3000-meter and one 5000mrace for the Skyhawks. Finished 26^th at George DavisInvitational (4/7) with a time of 10:53.45 in the 3000m, a personalbest. Finished the 5000m race in 17:48.24 at Larry EllisInvitational (4/20). Had great success in the 10000m run on theseason, participating in three races. Claimed second at SkyhawkInvitational (4/14) with a time of 37:40.01. Was the winner of theevent at the Northeast-10 Championships (5/5), finishing first inthe conference at 38:29.88. Took home second place at New EnglandChampionships (5/12), good for an All-New England honor, finishingin 37:31.77.

Posted a season best time of 39:14.66in the 10,000 meter run at the Bryant University Invitational.Finished 22nd overall at the New England championships in the 5,000meter run in 18:34.46. Ran to a personal best time of 18:06.73 atthe Larry Ellis Invitational. Also competed in the 5,000 meter runat the Bridgewater State University Invitational finishing inseventh place with a time of 19:49.43. Finished 20th overall at theGeorge Davis Invitational in the 3,000 meter run in 10:54.77.Competed in the 1,500 meter run at the Skyhawk Invitational (21stoverall, 5:09.23).

High School: 2009graduate of Seekonk High School. Lettered in cross country andtrack for coaches Eli Mello and Frank Mooney. Holds the schoolrecord in the 600m with a time of 1:25.95. Earned SunChronicle All-Star honors.

Personal: BornSeptember 25, 1990, Providence, R.I. Son of David and ElizabethSpencer of Seekonk, Mass. Has three sisters. Also a member ofthe cross country team. Majoring in American History with a minorin journalism. Phi Alpha Eta Honor Society. Interned at The SunChronicle during the summer of 2012.
