2012-13: Division II ADA AcademicAchievement Award. NE-10 Commissioner'sHonor Roll both semesters. AthleticDirector's Honor Roll both semesters. NE-10 Relay of theWeek (4x400, 12/3, 12/10, 1/21). Competed in sevenevents for the Skyhawks during the indoor season. Opened the yearby placing in three events at the UMass Boston Invitational(12/1/12), finishing 1st in the 60-meter hurdles (9.58 finals/9.65prelims), 2nd with the 4x400 relay team (4:08.80/62.9, third leg),and 6th in the 200-meter dash (27/14). Took 1st place with the4x400 relay team (4:02.70) at the Reggie Poyau Invitational(12/7/12). Placed in two more events at the URI SorlienInvitational (12/19/12) when she earned 6th in the 60-meter hurdleswith a time of 9.46 and first with the 4x400 relay team in 3:59.49.Ran a season-best time of 9.34 seconds to take 4th place in the60-meter hurdles at Northeastern University’s Joe DonahueGames (1/25/13). Also raced to 2nd place with the 4x400 relay team(3:58.94) at the Joe Donahue Games. Earned 3rd place with the 4x400relay team (4:01.14/61.9, third leg) at the URI Coaches TributeMeet (2/2/13). Helped the 4x400 relay team earn third place with atime of 3:59.70 at the NE-10 Championships (2/16/13). Ran thesecond leg of the 4x400 relay in 59.2 seconds during theteam’s school-record and NCAA Provisional Qualifying time of3:52.15 at the New England Championships (2/22/13). Polakowski Named to USTFCCCA All-East RegionTeam. 4x400 Relay Team Earns NE-10Recognition. 4x400 Relay Named Team Of The Week ForSecond Consecutive Week. 4x400 Relay Takes Home Third NE-10 Team of The WeekAward.
 

2011-12: Division IIADA Academic Achievement Award. All-Northeast-10(4x400m). Athletic Director's Honor Roll (FallSemester). NE-10 Commissioner's HonorRoll (BothSemesters). Competed in 12individual races and six relays on the season. Helped Stonehill's4x400 meter relay team establish a new school record along withteammates Maria Curit, Lauren Hanlon and Christen Carrier finishing2nd overall at the NE-10 Championships (2/18/12) in a total time of4:01.91. Ran a split of 61.8 as the 3rd leg in the event. Posted atime of 9.25 seconds in the 55 meter hurdle prelims at the JayCarisella Invitational (12/3/11). Also ran on Stonehill's thirdplace 4x400 meter relay team (4:08.16). Advanced to the 55 meterhurdle finals at the Reggie Poyau Invitational (12/10/11) with apreliminary time of 9.01 seconds. Finished 4th overall in thefinals with a time of 8.94 seconds. Also competed in the 200 meterrun placing 5th overall with a time of 27.60 seconds. Ranked thirdoverall in the 55 meter hurdles at the UNH Tri-Meet running a timeof 8.64 seconds in the finals. Posted a preliminary time of 8.77seconds. Finished 17th overall out of 56 competitors in the 55meter dash at the New Balance Boston Collegiate Indoor Games(1/27/12) in 7.62 seconds. Also ran in the 55 meter hurdles postinga preliminary time of 8.63 seconds and a finals time of 8.68seconds (eighth overall). Ran a time of 9.63 seconds in the prelimsat the Charley Torpey Memorial Invitational (2/4/12). Finished 6thoverall at the NE-10 Championsips (2/18/12) in the 55 meter hurdleswith a time of 8.64 seconds in the finals. Ran a time of 8.68seconds in the prelims. Had a time of 9.33 in the prelims of the 60meter hurdles at the New England Championships (1/24/12). HelpedStonehill to a second place finish in the 4x400 meter relay at theUNH Tri-Meet (4:07.44). Finished 3rd overall at the Reggie PoyauInvitational in the 4x400 meter relay (4:11.80). Ranked 8th overallin the 4x400 meter relay at the New Balance Boston CollegiateIndoor Games (4:12.54). Placed 6th overall in the 4x400 meter relayat the Charley Torpey Memorial Invitational (4:03.61).

2010-11: NE-10Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll. Set the school recordin the 60 meter hurdles at the New England championships with atime of 9.35 seconds in the prelims. Ran to a 13th place finish inthe finals of the New England championships. Finished 2nd overallat the Tufts Stampede with a time of 9.56 seconds in the 60 meterhurdles. Ran a time of 9.42 seconds in the prelims at the TuftsStampede. Posted a time of 9.71 seconds in the prelims at theBoston University Valentine Classic. Finished 2nd overall at theUniversity of New Hampshire Tri-Meet in the 55 meter hurdles with atime of 8.58 seconds. Finished 6th overall in the 55 meter hurdlesat the NE-10 championships in 8.66 seconds. Ran the 200 meter dashtwice during the season at the Reebok Boston Collegiate IndoorGames (27.07, personal best) and the Tufts Stampede (tenth overall,27.57). Competed in the 4x400 meter relay twice including a5thplace finish at the NE-10 championships.

OutdoorSeason

2013: Ran in the 100-meter event twice.Finished5th at Bridgewater State Bears Invitational (3/23) with atime of 13.38, which was bested (13.12) at the Holy CrossInvitational (4/20). Ran the 200-meter in 27.76 at the same meet.Competed in the 400-meter hurdles in all but one event, startingthe season off with an event-winning time of 1:05.93, a personalbest. Placed third at Skyhawk Invitational (4/26), running in1:06.51. Competed in the Northeast-10 Championship (5/3-4) and NewEngland Championship (5/10-11), running 1:10.14 and 1:08.81,respectively. Finished 12th in the 100-meter hurdles at SkyhawkInvitational, completing the race in 16.39 seconds.

2012: Ran in three meets for the Skyhawksduring the outdoor season. Placed fourth in the 400-meter hurdles(1:07.61) at UConn Spring Invitational (3/31). Took home 2nd atSkyhawk Invitational (4/14) with a time of 1:07.58, good for aseason best. Placed 10th at Holy Cross Crusades (4/21) with a runof 1:08.15. Ran twice in the 100m hurdles, timing in at 17.00seconds and 15.63 seconds at the UConn Spring Invitational andSkyhawk Invitational, respectively. Competed in the 4x400 relay atthe Skyhawk Invitational, placing fifth with Lauren Hanlon, SarahBurke, and Melissa Ulcena, running in 4:18.74.

2011:Athletic Director's Honor Roll SpringSemester. NE-10 Commissioner's SpringHonor Roll. Finished 4th overall at the NE-10championships in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:06.94, apersonal best. Placed 26th overall at the New England championshipswith a time of 1:08.96. Finished 2nd overall at the BridgewaterState University Invitational with a time of 1:09.17 and 3rd at theSkyhawk Invitational in 1:08.52. Helped Stonehill to fourth placefinishes in the 4x100 meter relay (50.89) and 4x400 meter relay(4:08.63) at the NE-10 championships. Placed 4rth overall in the100 meter hurdles at the BSU Invitational (16.85) and 19th overallat the Bryant University Invitational (17.15). Also competed in the400 hurdles at the George Davis Invitational (7th overall,1:07.61), the UMass Minutemen Invitational (sixth overall, 1:08.85)and the Larry Ellis Invitational (1:08.51).

High School: 2010honors graduate of Essex High School. Three-year letterwinner inindoor track, serving as captain her senior year. Holds the schoolrecord in the 55m hurdles, and was state champion in the 55mhurdles her junior and senior year. Team champions for threeconsecutive years (2008-2010). Four-year letterwinner in outdoortrack, serving as captain her senior year. Was 100m, 100m hurdles,and 300m hurdles state champion her senior year, and is the staterecord-holder in the 300m hurdles. Also a three-year letterwinnerin soccer, serving as captain her senior year. Team won the statechampionship in 2007. National Honor Societymember. 

Personal: BornJune 20, 1992 in Burlington, Vt. Daughter of Carol and ChrisPolakowski of Essex Junction, Vt. Has a brother, Jason (22), whoruns track at Southern Connecticut State University. Majoring inbiochemistry. Lambda Epsilon Sigma National Honor Societymember.  Phi Lambda Upsilon Honorary Chemical Society member.Career goals include a 1:00, 400m hurdle time and a sub-14.4, 100mhurdle time.
