Maddie Patno joined Stonehill at the start of the 2026-2027 academic year as the Associate Director of Athletics for Business and Finance.

Patno comes to Stonehill after serving as the Director of Athletic Business Operations at Providence College. While with the Friars, she was responsible for receiving and recording all expense-related items, including accounts payable, reimbursements, credit card transactions, non-gift deposits and journal vouchers. Additionally, she assisted in the day-to-day management of new hire orientation, monthly reporting and reconciliation, and year-end closing and audit support.

Prior to her time at Providence, Patno served as a graduate assistant in the Providence athletics business office (2019-21). She also served as a student worker in the business office during her junior and senior year at Providence.  

Originally from Rehoboth, Massachusetts, Patno is a 2019 graduate of Providence College, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in finance. She was a four-year member of the women’s basketball team while at PC where she was a 1000-point scorer and a three-time member of the BIG EAST All-Academic Team. In 2021, she earned a Master's Degree in business administration from Providence.

Patno was a two-time honoree at the 2019 Providence College Athletic Awards Gala as the recipient of the Sine Qua Non Award and became the first female student-athlete to claim the Rev. Robert A. Morris, O.P. ‘46 Memorial Award. She is currently on the Friar Women Leaders Committee for Athletics.  

Patno currently resides in Lincoln, Rhode Island with her husband, Drew, and son, Charlie.
