Martin (Providence, R.I./Mount Saint Charles Academy) led

The defense shielded junior

freshman Michelle Curtis (Feeding Hills,
Mass./Agawam) for the shutout. Curtis made one stop over
the final 1:18 in her collegiate debut. Junior Kara Smith
(West Springfield, Mass./West Springfield) made six saves
in goal for Bentley as the Skyhawks finished with a 17-7 advantage
in shots for the match, including a 10-2 margin in the opening
half. Stonehill also took nine corner kicks with the Falcons
earning none.
Stonehill wasted little time taking
the advantage in the match as Murphy netted her fourth goal of the
season just 3:49 into the contest when she took a pass from McEvily
and slotted in the only goal the Skyhawks would need. Stonehill
doubled their advantage in the 27th minute when Murphy
set up St. Martin with a through ball that sent St. Martin in
one-on-one with Smith to put the Skyhawks up two goals.
Stonehill netted a third before
halftime as Norton slotted in a rebound during a scramble inside
the 18 at the 35:27-mark for her second goal of the year. The
Skyhawks put the match away with two goals in an 11-minute span in
the second. Mahoney scored her fourth goal of the year off a cross
from McEvily at 56:08, before St. Martin completed her double in
the 68th minute with her team-leading 12th
