(October 2, 2021) - Stonehill College took its second nationally ranked opponent this week into overtime, but saw The College of Saint Rose, ranked No. 3 in the United Soccer Coaches Association Division II poll, rally for a 2-1 double-overtime victory in Northeast-10 Conference women's soccer action at Skyhawk Field this afternoon.

The Details
- Freshman Mia Klammer headed in a cross from the right side by sophomore Kelly Coster at the left post 38-seconds into the second overtime period to clinch the comeback win for Saint Rose with her seventh goal of the season.

After a scoreless opening half devoid of any true scoring chances, Stonehill broke through less than ten minutes into the second half as sophomore Emmy Dumaresq took a through ball from junior Hannah Guidi down the right flank and curled a shot from a deep angle that deflected off the clearing attempt by the Saint Rose goalkeeper and into the back of the net for her first career goal in the 55th minute.
- Fifth-year Marika Laurendeau made both of her saves in the match in the second half, to hold Stonehill at the one goal.
- Junior Hanna Copley registered a career-high nine saves in the Stonehill goal.
- Stonehill attempted to see the 1-0 lead out, but Saint Rose was able to grab a late equalizer when sophomore Sanna Rein took advantage of a failed clear attempt and stepped into a shot from 25 yards out on the right channel into the upper left corner of the goal for her first goal of the season with just 4:05 to play in regulation.
