COLCHESTER, Vt. (October 30, 2021) - Stonehill College will take its postseason quest into its regular season finale on Wednesday night after dropping a 3-0 decision to Saint Michael's College in Northeast-10 Conference men's soccer action at Duffy Field this afternoon.

The Details

• Senior Isaiah McCaskill scored a pair of goals to lead the way for Saint Michael's, his two markers bookending a goal by sophomore Brian Poolman just before halftime that gave the Purple Knights a two-goal lead at the break.
• McCaskill opened the scoring in the 42^nd minute with a rebound at the right post off an initial shot by senior Ryan DiNapoli, before Poolman struck with his first career goal on a header just 64-seconds after.
• McCaskill sealed the win with his seventh goal of the year with just a tick under ten minutes to play, heading in a cross from freshman Brock Martindale. 
• Stonehill made a late push with their best opportunities coming in the 81^st minute after a shot from sophomore Zach Davis followed by a corner and shot by freshman Colby Meyer but senior Mathias Loft was equal to the task in completing the shutout win.
• Loft finished with three saves in goal for Saint Michael's. 
• Junior Andrew Hammersley made ten saves in goal for Stonehill, marking his fifth career double-digit save effort, and third this season alone.
