Box Score BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (November 26, 2022)- The Stonehill College women's ice hockey team wrapped up their two-game weekend series against the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) Engineers in non-conference action as they fell 5-0 Saturday afternoon at the Bridgewater Ice Arena.

The Details
- The Engineers struck first around the 12-minute mark (12:52) when Papineau swung the puck over to Zahirnyi who found Blitz at the right face-off circle as she fired a wrister past Zukow's stick side for the 1-0 advantage.
- Less than four minutes later at 8:40, RPI doubled their lead (2-0) when Price put a shot on net from the top of the right face-off circle but despite Zukow making the initial save, Kaiser corralled the loose puck and put it past the Stonehill netminder.
- Despite the two-goal lead, Stonehill had multiple chances to get on the board as the Skyhawks generated a powerplay with 4:12 left in the opening period. During the extra skater advantage, the Purple and White peppered Rampado with four great looks but unfortunately were turned away each time.
- In the second, both sides play a hard-fought period as each side had just eight shots but with 2:02 left, the Engineers struck again after Wagner swung the puck over to Christof who put in a one-timer which made it 3-0 going into the final period.
- As the third got underway, RPI tacked on two more goals courtesy of Peterson and Papineau for the eventual 5-0 win.
