How it Happened

- After a goal was waved off due to an offside call by the official in the 47th minute, Howard would open the scoring less than 10 minutes later off a rebound from inside the box.
- Jackson stopped the original shot off the boot of Young, however, Mickens-Perez pounced on the rebound and found the back of the net for the game's opening score and her second goal of the season.
- Stonehill found a way to respond just five minutes later at the 59:22 mark of the contest after Anselmo placed a perfect breakout pass ahead of Caso who chipped a shot into the back right corner of the net, tying the game up at one apiece with 30 minutes left to play.
- Jackson and the Skyhawks defense came up clutch in the waning minutes of the contest, as the senior netminder faced six shot attempts in the final 15 minutes before making an incredible diving save in the 85th minute to keep the score knotted at 1-1.
