How It Happened
  • Stonehill grabbed a quick lead with three goals, the first two by van Zwol, in a two-minute span in the first quarter.
  • van Zwol opened the scoring with her first collegiate goal 4:46 into the game when she converted a cross from Stark at the near post. van Zwol added her second goal just 51-seconds later by converting a penalty stroke.
  • Bickford followed with her first collegiate goal 53-seconds after that, scoring off a rebound after a Queens defensive save on an initial drive by Stark at 6:30.
  • Queens got on the scoreboard 6:27 into the second quarter with Gonzalez Fontan's first career goal on a rebound following the Royals first penalty corner of the game.
  • Harlos' first career goal two minutes later restored the Skyhawks three goal cushion when she followed her penalty corner insertion to the left post and tipped in D'Antonio's drive from the top of the circle with 6:33 remaining in the half.
  • Queens drew back within a pair just before halftime with Kemp's first goal of the year with 25-seconds remaining.
  • Stonehill added single goals in the third and fourth quarters to put the outcome away, starting with a second by Harlos with 5:26 left in the third quarter, knocking in a pass from McGrory at the right post.
  • Strickulis closed out the Stonehill scoring with her third goal of the season 1:29 into the fourth quarter off a pass from De Roeck.
