BRONX, N.Y. (October 18, 2024) – Stonehill men's cross country continued its postseason slate at Van Cortlandt Park Friday afternoon as the Skyhawks ran in the eight-kilometer race at ECAC/IC4A Championships.
Stonehill was led by graduate student
Patrick Garratt (Westwood, Mass.), who placed 43rd out of 261 runners. The Skyhawks ranked 11th out of 24 squads that qualified in the team standings. George Mason, Harvard, and Bucknell rounded out the top three schools.
Highlights
- Garratt finished with a time of 25:29.4, his fastest 8K time of the 2024 season as he's improved on his time in all three 8K races he has run in.
- Sophomore Brendan Wilder (Waltham, Mass.) placed 46th as he clocked in at 25:31.3 to set a new personal record in the 8K.
- Sophomores Dylan Brilliant (Plymouth, Mass.) and Ryan Pereira (Danbury, Conn.) finished back-to-back, placing 50th and 51st. Brilliant crossed the finish line at 25:33.8 to set a PR while Pereira finished at 25:35.6.
- Sophomore Nick Davies (Auckland, New Zealand) placed 94th as he finished the race in 26:03.1.
- Freshman Ethan Fadden (Bellingham, Mass.) ran the fastest 8K of his young career on Friday, placing 99th with a time of 26:05.7.

- Freshman Jacob Tobin (Natick, Mass.) hit a new PR in the 8K for the third consecutive race, finishing in 26:16.5 to place 118th.
- Senior Jace Hollenbach (Topsham, Maine) placed 126th with a time of 26:24.2.
- Freshman Kyle Kwiatek (Lynn, Mass.) finished at 26:36.2 to place 148th in his second collegiate race.
