Men's Hockey Drops Exhibition, 4-1, at New Hampshire

DURHAM, N.H. (October 5, 2024) – The Stonehill College men's ice hockey team dropped a 4-1 decision in an exhibition at the University of New Hampshire Saturday afternoon.

Highlights
  • Sophomore Conor Ronayne scored the lone goal for the Skyhawks off an assist by freshman defender Riley Rosenthal.
  • Freshman Justin Gibson and senior Cam Mannion each blocked three shots on the night for the Skyhawks.
  • Sophomore JJ Grainda tallied a team-high two shots on goal throughout the day for the Skyhawks.
  • The goal-tending trio of graduate student Connor Androlewicz, senior Gavin FitzPatrick and freshman Linards Lipskis split time in net for Stonehill. The trio of netminders combined to make 29 saves, with Lipskis leading the way with 16 total saves.
  • Sophomore Marty Lavins netted a pair of goals for the Wildcats, while junior Morgan Winters also registered a multi-point game, scoring a goal and dishing out an assist.
  • Senior Liam Devlin added a goal of his own for UNH off assists from senior classmates Colton Huard and Connor Sweeney.
  • Junior Jared Whale and senior Rico DiMatteo combined for 17 saves in between the pipes for the Wildcats.
