CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (October 14, 2025) – Four members of the Stonehill College women's tennis team represented the Skyhawks this past weekend at the ITA New England Regional Tournament, hosted by Harvard University at the Beren Tennis Center.
Senior
Anneliese Beltran, junior
Julie Holte, and sophomores
Arya Chabria and
Piper Remillard competed for Stonehill in the regional event featuring top programs from across New England.
Holte earned a spot in the main singles draw, where she faced the tournament's fourth-seeded competitor, Stephanie Yakoff of the host Crimson, falling 6-1, 6-2, before dropping a consolation match to Syracuse's Monika Wojcik, 6-1, 6-3. Beltran also represented the Skyhawks in singles play, taking on Quinnipiac's Emily Meng and Brown's Francesca Saroli.
In doubles action, Beltran and Holte opened with a strong 8-4 victory over Brown's Hannah Shen and Sari Woo before falling to St. Bonaventure's Sara Montano Parada and Tamara Bachmann, 8-1, in the Round of 32. Chabria and Remillard rounded out the Skyhawk pairings, battling UMass duo Amelia Tye and Ella Faessler to an 8-3 result in their opening-round matchup.
