EASTON, Mass. (Oct. 17, 2025) – The Stonehill field hockey team earned a 5-1 victory in an NEC contest against New Haven at W.B. Mason Friday afternoon. The Skyhawks, who outshot the Chargers, 28-2, improve to 4-10 overall and 4-2 in the NEC, while New Haven slips to 0-11 and 0-6 in league play.

In the second,
Siena De Roeck opened the scoring, taking a pass from
Makayla Strickulis and off a penalty corner to make it 1-0 in favor of Stonehill at 19:05. Moments later,
Havana De Roeck upped the Skyhawk lead to 2-0 with a score at 20:20.
After New Haven's Emma Beaujouan capitalized off a penalty corner in the final seconds of the second quarter, Stonehill responded with a goal off another penalty corner at 30:27.
Siobhan Landers tapped in a shot off a pass from
Havana De Roeck, putting Stonehill back up two scores, 3-1.
Later in the third,
Siena De Roeck converted a penalty stroke at 34:15, and then Ellie Delisle capped the scoring off a pass from
Isa Houben at 53:25 of the fourth quarter.

Stonehill (4-10, 4-2 NEC) will head back on the road to visit Sacred Heart (4-10, 2-4) in another crucial NEC matchup in New Haven, Conn., on Sunday, Oct. 19 at 1 p.m.
