BROCKTON, Mass. (Oct. 26, 2025) – The Stonehill swimming team hosted Merrimack and Sacred Heart at Massasoit Community College Pool Sunday afternoon.
The Skyhawks earned a 147-140 victory over the Warriors to pick up their first dual win of the season. Stonehill dropped the meet to Sacred Heart, 198-95, while the Pioneers also topped Merrimack by a score of 209-90.
In the final meet of the race, Stonehill's 200 freestyle relay capped the victory against Merrimack by winning the event of a collective mark of 1:41.05, as junior
Grace Idowu, junior
Sherri Danforth, sophomore
Chihiro Bringman and sophomore
Elizabeth Weston defeated the Warriors' relay team by 0.46 seconds.
Idowu also earned victory in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.58, and she was second in the 100 freestyle (54.09). Winning the 100 freestyle was senior
Kristy Barry who touched the ball first at 53.87. Barry also came in second in the 200 freestyle, finishing in 2:00.49.

Lily Peterson on the 400 medley relay that took second with a mark of 3:59.35. Peterson clocked the fastest time in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.35), and she was second in the 200 breaststroke (2:30.64).
Freshman
Emma Kawai won the 200 backstroke (2:11.43), and she was fourth in the 400 individual medley (4:47.50) to earn key points.
