DURHAM, N.H. (Oct. 5, 2025) – The Stonehill field hockey team fell in its non-conference matchup at New Hampshire by a score of 5-0 Sunday afternoon.
The loss drops the Skyhawks to 2-9 overall, while the Wildcats move to 5-5.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
New Hampshire got on the scoreboard early, as Fay Meijer tallied the game's first goal 1:10 into the first period with assists by Addison MacNeil and Louette Petiet. Just over four minutes later, Emily Coughlin made it 2-0 at 5:30. The Wildcats added a goal with 10 seconds remaining in the half off a shot by Nicole Poulakis from Kathelijne Knuttel.
Poulakis extended New Hampshire's lead to 4-0 at 46:48, and Knuttel capped the scoring off a pass from MacNeil at 55:17.
UP NEXT:
Stonehill (2-9, 2-2 NEC) will remain on the road to face NEC foe Mercyhurst (0-9, 0-4 NEC) on Friday, Oct. 10 for a 1 p.m. contest.
