EASTON, Mass. (Nov. 1, 2025) – The Stonehill football team dropped a home game to Robert Morris by a score of 20-17 at W.B. Mason Stadium Saturday afternoon.
The loss moves the Skyhawks to 2-2 in the NEC and 3-6 overall, while the Colonials move to 2-2 in league play and 3-6 overall.
STONEHILL HIGHLIGHTS:
- Aidan Garrett had a 62-yard run, the longest of the season for Stonehill, and he finished the game with eight carries for 75 yards and a touchdown.

- Charles Battaglia made 10 tackles on defense, including 1.0 for a loss.

- Tyler Bannon returned an interception for 24 yards and added three tackles.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Robert Morris scored on the game's opening drive, as Chaz Middleton caught a 36-yard TD pass from Zach Tanner the right sideline at 11:29 to make it 7-0. Early in the second,
Cody Ruff evened the score when he grabbed a 17-yard toss from
Jack O'Connell, scampering into the endzone with 12:04 remaining in the half, 7-7. With 6:00 left in the second, the Colonials' Jayson Jenkins nailed a 44-yard field goal to put RMU back on top, 10-7.
Following a 62-yard rush by
Aidan Garrett,
Domenic Scalese connected on a 24-yard field goal of his own, tying the game, 10-10. After
Tyler Bannon intercepted a pass, Garrett completed the drive with a two-yard TD rush, putting the Skyhawks back on top, 17-10, with 1:22 to go in the half.
In the third, Jenkins hit his second field goal of the day, converting a 29-yard chance with 2:09 to go in the frame, getting the Colonials within 17-13. With 9:41 left in the fourth, Tanner sent a pass to the right corner of the endzone, finding Richard Ransom for an 18-yard TD, making it 20-17 in favor of RMU.
