BROOKLYN, N.Y. (NOV. 15, 2025) – The Stonehill volleyball season came to a close on Saturday afternoon, falling to LIU in the three sets, 3-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Sharks were quick out of the gate, taking the first set, 25-13, behind a solid .548 attack percentage. They kept their foot on the accelerator in the second set after registering 11 kills on 18 attempts with just two errors to take the two-match advantage.
Freshmen
Emaline Ealey and
Sam Loyd each notched three kills in the third set to keep the Skyhawks in the match, but they were unable to tame the Sharks. LIU grew stronger, posting a .625 attack percentage with 16 kills on 24 attempts and one miscue to take the third set and the match by a score of 25-14.
