HOW IT HAPPENED
Sophomore
Hermann Koffi opened the game scoring the first 10 points for the Skyhawks as Stonehill led 10-8 early on. It was a back-and-forth battle throughout the early minutes of the first half, but Bobcats were able to take advantage of Skyhawk miscues and build themselves a 41-32 heading into the break.
Quinnipiac kept the pressure on at the start of the second extending their lead to as much as 22 midway through the period. Stonehill continued to fight a tough Bobcat team. Junior guard
Davante Hackett snared an offensive board and drove through the key for a floating jumper to cut into the Bobcat lead. It was not enough as Quinnipiac remained focused and held on for their fifth win.
